Join URI Marine Outreach Scientists on a summer day at low tide for a two-hour beachwalk. Explore Fort Getty, one of Rhode Island's unique coastal beaches. This program gives young people a special chance to have their questions answered about the plants, animals, and minerals found in our area. These Beachcombing events are held monthly in June, July and August. They are free and open to the public but advanced registration is required.
